It’s been 365 days, 1 complete year since I started this process of changing my life to make it better.  Although not at my heaviest, because I had lost some before joining Rikki.  I just was having troubles with changing it into a lifestyle, so through a mutual friend ( who has done phenomenal might I add) I asked her what she was doing, she had told me about her fitness coach then she set up a call between Rikki and I.I told Rikki I have yo-yo dieted my entire life and, currently that’s what I was doing.  I also had told Rikki I wasn’t able to do any of these workouts do to my health ( autoimmune disorders) & I have had 2 back surgeries, also need a new hip.  Well she started me on Macros, let me tell you this was more damn food then I had ever eaten. She also told me to try what I could with exercise and at least get moving, but the biggest thing is always get in your food. Here I am still with the program, changing my lifestyle because for those of you who know, you know it’s WORK and we are all a work in progress. Rikki has helped me change what I see looking back from that mirror.  YOU have to Take the damn picture!  I am now 50# lighter from my heaviest, 1 1/2 years ago wearing a size 20/22 to I now wear a 13/14 ( no I am not ashamed of wearing that #, look how far I have come & I don’t think I even wore that in High School).I’m not stopping here, I have had some bumps….( well Mtns in the road ) recently, but Rikki has been here to help me along as she is not all about physical, she also helps mentally, it’s in the name RPM fitness - Rikki’s Physical and Mental Fitness. Very last though, you have to find a WHY to help you move everyday! Through this process my Why has changed a couple times, and at times that Why has been for me, because of me.  Today my Why is a young superhero that calls me Nana.  Set your goal and have De-Shawn Mills help you change your life.


Before I started with RPM Fitness, I was on my own fitness journey and was ready to quit because I was in a plateau. What I was doing wasn't working, I didnt like who I saw in the mirror or how my attitude towards life was. I was ready to go back to my old ways.When I signed up with RPM Fitness I wasn't 100 % ready to be in a program because I was afraid of failing Rikki and her time she put into me.But she saw something in me that I didn't see in myself. She didn't treat me bad for being over weight and out of shape. She treated me like a person that deserved a chance to better my life.My first challenge with her I saw some improvements which made me want to push further, I took an 8 week challenge with Rikki and saw great improvements. I'm so glad I took the leap out of my comfort zone and joined her program. Rikki is an amazing coach! She isn't one to tell you what to do and just sits back and watches. She does everything with you!! She pushes herself to be better every day she leads by example. She puts her whole heart into her program! Everytime I get tired I can hear Rikki say : "YOU'RE NOT ALLOWED TO QUIT" and "DON'T LET YOUR BITCH VOICE WIN!!"


2 years ago I made the biggest decision of my life that would take alot of dedication and will power and most of all for me I was at my heaviest unhealthy no energy and was depressed I hated how I looked and felt so I decided to do something about it and that is when my weight loss journey began I was able to lose 70+ before I plateau that is when I saw an old friend Rikki Mills on Facebook posting pictures of her fitness journey so I reached out to her to get a little help get past my last little bit of scruggles of losing the rest of my weight and I am so glad I did that is when my lifestyle change began so I started working out with my friend Rikki Mills and that is when she told me she was thinking about becoming a coach and asked if I would be her Ginnie pig and I said why not and that is when both of life's changed she became this amazing coach who taught me so much and  the importance of diet and exercise that's when I learned about Macros which was a game changer and I learned the importance of how the ratio of 80% diet and 20% workouts will indeed help you with weightloss, once I was able to conquer that I was able to hit my goal weight and maintain it if I didn't have such an amazing coach who was patient with me and taught me never to quit and didn't let me quit I would not of made this amazing lifestyle change for life and still to this day I am right by my coach's side I couldn't of ask for a better coach, friend and mentor I am so proud to have done this amazing journey with her
